1.TERMS OF SERVICE
1.1. Actors
Dokeos Latinoamérica SAC, named hereafter referred to by THE PROVIDER, provides this website and its related features of communication, representation, exchange, advertisement, sales and purchases (hereafter referred to by THE SERVICE) to the person or business, hereafter referred to by THE USER under the conditions described below.
1.2. Automatic acceptance of conditions
Usage by THE USER of this website after the required confirmation of activation will be deemed to constitute acceptance of the terms and conditions contained herein.
1.3. Non transferrable benefits
The benefits conferred by this agreement are non-transferable and use of any of the features available on this website is expressly limited to THE USER whose name appears on the account associated with this website.
1.4. Required information
THE USER must provide accurate and correct contact information and a personal e-mail address to be kept informed of the website's changes that might affect his/her use of THE SERVICE or its corresponding data.
1.5. Sales service requirements
The sales services require :
a) THE USER to set up a Seller Account that is authorised by THE USER's financial institution to do electronic point of sale transactions.
b) THE USER to register correct and accurate data that will allow the authorized authority to identify THE USER personally in case of legal conflict
1.6. Shipping
In case of shippable products, THE USER must prominently display a Shipping and Handling Policy that includes a Returns Policy within the website and shopping cart for THE SERVICE to be enabled. THE USER who buys a shippable product MUST provide an accurate address for the product to be shipped to.
1.7. Addition of features
To add features to THE SERVICE, THE PROVIDER reserves the right to update THE SERVICE's templates at his sole discretion.
1.8. Basic knowledge requirement
THE USER is responsible for a basic working knowledge of his/her computer operating system and THE PROVIDER‘s technical support representatives are not responsible for general computer support. Any assistance given to the customer is at the discretion of the representative.
1.9. Responsibility over content
THE PROVIDER does not endorse any responsibility for inappropriate, dangerous or illegal content available on his website in the past, present or future. However, THE PROVIDER will do its best efforts to filter these inappropriate, dangerous or illegal content. The responsability of the content shall be endorsed by THE USER who made this content available.
1.10. Responsibility over quality of service
THE PROVIDER does not endorse any responsibility for bad or inexistent quality of service. It is implied by the offer of THE SERVICE that it is in the best interest of THE PROVIDER to provide the best possible quality of service.
1.11. Charges
THE PROVIDER will charge a fee of 5% of any sale operated on this website. This amount will be charged to THE USER offering a product or service for sale using THE SERVICE. The corresponding amount will be charged to THE USER on a regular basis, at the discretion of THE PROVIDER, and could be charged at transaction time.
1.12. Account cancellation
THE USER may, at any time, cancel his subscription to THE SERVICE without explanation. In the case the user engaged in sales or purchases, the amount due to THE PROVIDER will remain due until completely paid. THE PROVIDER will hold user information for 10 years but make it unavailable to the public and will not use this information unless required by law to do so.
1.13. Changes of policy
THE PROVIDER reserves his right to alter these terms and conditions in any way, at any time, providing clear information by e-mail to THE USER, and the possibility for THE USER to disable his account if he/she does not agree with these changes.
